Dan completed his first TWC retreat in May of 2015. In October 2016 he returned to TWC to serve as a mentor as well as to complete the TWC Facilitator Training.
Currently, Dan serves as a Captain in the VT Army National Guard as a full-time member of the Active Guard & Reserve (AGR) Force. Dan also serves part-time for a local police department in the Upper Valley. Dan served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 2001-2005 and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in 2003. Dan subsequently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) with the VT Army National Guard in 2010.
Dan holds a BA in Criminal Justice from Norwich University (The Military College of Vermont) and he is currently a member of The American Legion Post 114 in Barrington, NH, a member of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA).
Away from work, Dan is married to his beautiful wife Ruthie and they live in West Windsor, VT with their 2 dogs Tali (rescued from Afghanistan) and Dre (the Yorkie who runs the house).
Dan's strongest inner calling is to help as many struggling Veterans as possible through, with, and alongside the amazing people serving through The Warrior Connection.
